Painting with Pastel for beginners
This taster workshop is aimed at complete beginners. We will begin by looking at the equipment used for painting and drawing with soft pastels.
We will explore the techniques needed to create different effects within a painting including colouring grounds (grounds is the term used for the the surface you are painting on) blending, mixing, liner and strokes, broken colour, feathering and many more.
In the latter half of the day we will be looking to complete a finished painting
This is a full day workshop from 10.30am until 4.30pm.
Limited equipment is provided.
Lunch and refreshments are included.
