Beginners Watercolour Course
The Beginners watercolour course will cover all the elements and techniques required to produce a watercolour painting.
The course consists of 10 x 1.5 hour sessions
During the course learners will cover:
Watercolour equipment and its uses.
Develop their brush control skills. Understand the qualities and uses for different painting surfaces.
Learn about paint behavior.
Each week we will study a different technique starting with creating basic washes, Wet on wet, wet on dry and
soft edges, easy colour mixing, making object look 3D
light and shadow, and prgress to the techniques and skills needed to paint skies, clouds, water, reflection, trees, flowers, foliage, buildings, perspective, basic people and animals.
Each week we will aim to produce a painting incorporating the skills and techniques learnt.
Building up your own library of techniques, skills and useful tips.
Learners will get lots of hands on practice with exercises.
